Terms and Conditions

At-Home Consultation

Where this service is selected, an initial consultation will be carried out to discuss and agree the scope of works, provide design advice and take accurate measurements to enable bespoke products to be specified. Following this, a full specification will be provided at the point of order and should be checked carefully for accuracy and completeness before confirmation.

There is no charge for the at-home consultation and no obligation to proceed with a purchase.

Made-to-Measure Products

AD Furnishings will take full responsibility for any faults with products supplied or for measurement errors where we have carried out an on-site survey. Where measurements are provided by the customer without an on-site survey, responsibility for their accuracy remains with the customer.

As all made-to-measure items are produced to your agreed specification, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges based on changes of preference, including fabric choice, design or finish. We therefore recommend ensuring you are completely happy with the selected design and specification before confirming your order.

Quotes

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. After this period, prices may be subject to change to reflect any variations in material or supplier costs.

Payment Terms

Payment terms typically involve an upfront deposit at the point of order confirmation to allow materials and components to be ordered and manufacturing to begin. The remaining balance is then payable upon completion of the work.

The standard deposit is 50% of the total order value, although this may vary depending on the materials specified or project requirements.

Lead Times

The standard lead time for made-to-measure furnishings is typically around four weeks from the point of order. However, due to the bespoke nature of our work, lead times can vary depending on the scope of the project and the availability of materials.

AD Furnishings will provide an estimated lead time specific to each project at the point of order and will keep you informed of any significant changes where possible.

Cancellations & Amendments

Once an order has been confirmed, AD Furnishings will begin ordering materials and starting the manufacturing process. For this reason, we’re unable to offer full refunds on cancelled orders.

If you wish to amend or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate where production has not yet progressed too far.

Ownership

All goods supplied remain the property of AD Furnishings until payment has been received in full.

Product Variations

Certain products can have slight variations due to the nature of the make up. For example fabrics can have slight batch variations from piece to piece which could be reflected from samples to your finished product.

Due to the nature of certain materials used in bespoke furnishings, slight variations may occasionally occur between samples and the finished product. This can include minor differences in colour, texture or finish, particularly where natural materials or fabric dye lots are involved.
